Hi I'm Glen Byron, Jr

I was born in American Samoa; my father taught school there, raised in Arizona & Texas, and live in Northern Ireland.

About Me

I have a wonderful, amazing wife and five beautiful kids; one boy and four girls. We also have a dog, a cat, a rabbit and four guinea pigs! My wife and I met while I was serving my LDS mission in Ireland, and we currently live in her hometown of Fivemiletown. I work in marketing and communications as a self-employed consultant. I currently work with the Department of Finance and Personnel.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been Mormon. My family has been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since waaay back. Growing up being Mormon was just part of the way things were, as a young kid I knew nothing else. But I have since come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's true and living church on Earth. Every day there is something that happens; some blessing, some feeling, something that tells me that this is the true church, that Christ did come and appear to Joseph Smith in response to his prayer, and that we have a prophet on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

I currently live in a small congregation (branch) here in Northern Ireland, and have been asked to serve as the leader of the congregation. This is a new experience for me, and one that has taught me a lot about myself and about how I believe our Heavenly Father wants us to serve each other. I try and think about others more, think what they might need, and be sensitive to what the Lord would have me do. I try and be forgiving of others and am easy with a positive word and try and express my thanks quickly.
