Hi I'm David

I'm a husband, father, grandfather. I'm an accountant and auditor. I love sports and travel. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Served an LDS mission to Sweden, I'm married and we have 5 children, 2.5 grandchildren. I work in the world of accounting and finance and auditing. I have enjoyed many different sports in my life and I love to travel with my wife and children. We often visit places where my family roots came from. All of my great great grandparents joined the mormon church nearly 150 years ago.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been blessed by my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe the testimony I have gained through the gospel and scriptures and the Lord's living prophets has guided my life and provided a wonderful anchor in a world of uncertainty and often misguided change. I can't imagine life without the anchor of the gospel. I know I have been blessed and watched over and I give great thanks to my Heavenly Father for these blessings.

How I live my faith

Serving in the church is a wonderful opportunity to put believe into action. When we serve others, we in turn are serving God. My service has been many different things. Teaching youth, working with boy scouts, leading fellow brothers in Sunday services and service projects. Currently I serve in a calling that works with multiple congregations, delivering talks, overseeing financial record audits, and general administrative support. Currently my 2nd son is serving a full time mission for the Lord, for which we provide his support. We are thrilled with the experiences that he relates about the many people that he has taught and brought to a knowledge of the gospel and the Lord's love for each of us.
