Hi I'm Bob

I was born and raised in Utah. I now practice law. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of three wonderful children. I love nearly all kinds of sports, reading is my biggest hobby.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received a witness of the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One of the things I like about the Church is how the focus in on individuals. I know that the Lord is mindful of each of his children. This knowledge has helped me many times in my life to overcome challenges and difficulties. Membership in the Church has been a great blessing to my family, too.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a daily thing. My service in the church often involves visiting members of our congregation to encourage and uplift them in living the Gospel. I also have opportunities on Sunday to teach lessons to adult members of our congregation.

What is the First Vision?

The Church's beginning in modern times came in 1830 when a young man by the name of Joseph Smith sought to know which church he should join. As a result of reading James 1:5-6 in the New Testament, Joseph decided to pray for guidance. As he knelt in prayer in the woods not far from his home, he was visited by God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. This wonderful vision in answer to a humble prayer led to the restoration of Gospel. Show more Show less
