Hi I'm Denae Michelle

About Me

I am an Army wife and mother of three. The great outdoors, tennis, the acustic guitar, and being on stage are things I love to do! I also love roadtrips (even with 3 small children and a deployed husband). We drove to Alaska last year and it was a bit scary in March, but a grand adventure!

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to become a member of this church and to continue to follow it's teachings simply because I've always known it's true. Throughout my life (starting when I was very young) I've often felt the reassuring feeling that what I've been taught is truth. Just like how we know and feel what is right from what is wrong. But the most important part about how I know what is right (besides just feeling it) is that I ask. When I ask our Heavenly Father in sincere prayer, having faith that he will answer, and being willing to follow what ever the answer is....then I know. Trying to describe the feeling you get when you know is sometimes like trying to describe how salt tastes. It's not easy.

How I live my faith

I keep my schedule very open, so when others need my help I am available. I visit a few of the women of the church who live near me monthly to see how they are doing and give them a brief message about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I organize monthly activities for the women of the church who live in our community. These activites strengthen our homes, families, marriages, and our faith in Christ.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Denae Michelle
Missionaries visit homes to teach the doctrine of Jesus Christ. They teach about who Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father are, what the Book of Mormon is, who Joseph Smith is, where we came from, why we are here, where we are going, faith, repentence, and baptism. They are also interested in you and what you believe. The missionaries are not contentious and are not their to obligate you. Rather they will invite you to find out for yourself through sincere prayer if what they have taught is true. Show more Show less
